Mani
Mani is a historical region of the Peloponnese covering Taygetos peninsula. Geographically Mani or "Inner Mani," as it is called locally, is defined by the nape of the Taygetos Sagia and ends at Cape Tenaro. The Inner Mani distinguished based on the ridge along the East or Prosilia Mani Mani, facing the Laconian Gulf and Western Mani or Mani aposkeri or aposkeri, overlooking the Messinian Gulf.
